Lady V. is a seasoned multi-disciplinary real estate professional with a diverse background spanning 25+ years in industry. She leads and manages The Abri Group-Ghana, a real estate brokerage and consultancy firm chartered both in the United States and Ghana.
In addition to residential and commercial real estate sales and leasing experience, Vicky’s expertise extends to Telco tower lease management, corporate real estate management, Association and Projects Management, making her a versatile and knowledgeable leader in the field.
Renowned for her passion for global outreach and institutional development, Vicky has in the last 15years dedicated her career to advancing real estate institutions, practices and mobilizing resources to foster growth in emerging markets. Her global mission supports the formalization and modernization of real estate markets through associations, technology, legislation, and strategic partnerships.
Initiative by initiative, her efforts have not only elevated the real estate industry in Africa but have also bridged the gap between the continent and the global real estate community, fostering growth and innovation.
Vicky envisioned ‘The Association” as the most important nucleus that can create and promote organized real estate. She led the formation of the Ghana Real Estate Professionals Association -GREPA using that as a stepstone for a structured framework and legislation. Where Real Estate Practitioners also gain access to resources, education, technology and networking opportunities that are crucial for maintaining professionalism and promoting best practices.
Vicky saw and experienced how pronounced the challenges of limited data was in Africa, with scattered data and no centralized system to track and analyze market information, and how the growth of these promising markets were stunted, resulting in missed opportunities.
In 2018 she started the journey to introduce the first multiple listing service in the Sub Region called Loop Ghana powered by the Xposure App. serving the Association in Ghana.
In April 2024, Vicky and her team launched the development of the Xchange MLS platform, a multi-country, multi-language, and multi-currency African Continental MLS platform, that will provide the infrastructure for collecting clean data and sharing data across regions and syndicating globally, enabling a more transparent, efficient, and competitive real estate market.
With a strong educational background, including a Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) from Roosevelt University in Chicago, and numerous professional designations, Vicky has led several real estate education programs to Ghana. These include the CIPS, CPM, ABR, ePro and PSA and continue to lead initiatives that transform the real estate landscape in Africa and beyond.
