About GREPA
Established in 2011, GREPA is a professional trade association dedicated to uniting real estate professionals in Ghana and advancing their shared objectives, which encompass, among other things: – Advocating and upholding ethical standards and best practices – Championing industry regulation through legislative support – Facilitating local and international networking opportunities – Promoting harmony, cooperation, and collaboration among members and other relevant institutions – Contributing to and endorsing efforts for real estate transparency in Africa through data GREPA’s initiatives are geared towards promoting and safeguarding a strong and dynamic real estate market, while also nurturing a thriving community in Africa. Notably, in 2015, GREPA launched public policy initiatives, including organizing a 5-day working visit for a 9-member parliamentary delegation from Ghana and providing assistance in the review of the Ghana Real Estate Bill, which was initially introduced in 2014. In collaboration with local, state, and national real estate associations, GREPA played a key role in coordinating and facilitating educational programs to equip the delegates with the necessary tools to formulate a comprehensive bill.
