In his role as the CEO of the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (TRREB), John DiMichele leads the largest real estate board in North America, boasting a membership of over 72,000 and serving 80,000 users within the Greater Toronto Area. His primary mission at TRREB revolves around gaining a deeper understanding, conducting thorough assessments, and enhancing the economic competitiveness and overall quality of life in the Greater Golden Horseshoe Region.
John excels at uniting the right individuals and cutting-edge technologies, enabling theimplementation of evidence-based initiatives that enhance communities throughout the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area.

John’s top priorities include safeguarding privacy and intellectual property rights associated with MLS® data, all while overseeing the development of a forward-looking MLS® system. Another major focus of his work is conducting research and devising strategies to boost the economic competitiveness and livability of the Greater Golden Horseshoe Region.

What sets John apart is his rare combination of practical real estate experience and technological expertise, which affords him a unique perspective on the transformation of our industry. Over the course of his career, he has made substantial contributions to the Ontario Real Estate Association, served on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Real Estate Association, and held the position of Chair for the National MLS® and Technology Council. Inthese capacities, John actively advocates for enhanced connectivity and collaboration between municipalities, with the goal of building more vibrant and efficient cities.
