At 18 years old, the ink was barely dry on António’s first passport when he had his first adventure – a visit to the island of Martinique. He’s traveled, lived, and studied worldwide since then and considers himself a perpetual student of cultures and people. He was born in Angola. He was blessed to be educated in the USA, earning his degree in Business Management. His career took off when he opened a flagship store in New York for a fledgling company, followed by 200 more stores worldwide. He learned a lot by helping companies with their global operations and expansion before they were even visible on Nasdaq. Today Real Estate is still very much a big part of who he is. However, he doesn’t sell houses; he sells dreams. It sounds clichéd to say it’s his passion, but he sells homes in his dreams. He eats, lives, and breathes the opportunity to meet and connect with new people and make life-long friends. He has a loyal fan base because he doesn’t have clients – he has friends. Ten years after he’s helped someone buy the home of their dreams, they still regard him as their ‘go-to resource’ for pretty much every little thing, and he wouldn’t have it any other way. Many of his ‘friends’ are overseas considering a move to Portugal or have an interest in buying a vacation home or rental property somewhere in the world. There is a lot of planning and faith involved when someone trusts you with a major lifestyle change. You can be sure when you land in Portugal that you already have a friend in him. He’s not problem-oriented; he is solution-oriented. He’s told it’s one of his strengths, which he hopes outweighs his weakness of never letting go of a problem! His company’s name is Infinite Solutions. Their mission is simple – offer support to their friends (clients); business partners; and Human Resources and provide the best possible value-added service so that everyone’s dreams are realized. He has a global outlook; however, he’s very much a local. People still refer to him as ‘Tony RE/MAX’ from when he first embraced Real Estate in Portugal more than 20 years ago. He constantly aspires to grow and do better and to add value. He has several professional designations (CRS®, CIPS®, ABR®). He is also affiliated with several multi-national organizations: FIABCI (International Real Estate Federation), AREAA (Asian Real Estate Association), CREA (Canadian Real Estate Association) and NAR®. Technology allows him to stay in contact with his ‘friends’ worldwide. He is fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
